Earth Day is Every Day
First held on 22nd April, 1970 Earth Day is now an annual event, in which an estimated 1 billion people in more than 193 countries take part. People can engage by participating in a range of events, co-ordinated by activists globally through the official Earth Day website Earthday.org.
Earth Day’s mission is to diversify, educate and activate the environmental movement worldwide. Growing out of the first Earth Day in 1970, their website Earthday.org is the world’s largest recruiter to the environmental movement, working with more than 75,000 partners in over 190 countries to drive positive action for our planet.
For us, we believe Earth Day is every day. We are a climate positive workforce and as such, we make a conscious effort to do our part for the planet, every day. One of the ways we do this is by partnering with Ecologi, who help us to plant a number of trees each year including one tree for every new sign up to our newsletter.
We also make it our mission to produce eco-friendly, sustainable solutions for our clients. For example, we always aim to use responsible printers and printing ink which is naturally sourced, as well as using recycled papers and FSC certified paper stock for our print solutions.
Not only are we passionate about working with purpose-driven brands who have an ethical message to share, are conscious about sustainability or influencing social good, through our services we encourage each person and business we interact with to consider how they can make their own unique mark by contributing to a more sustainable, healthy planet.
So, how will you spend your time this Earth Day?
